Álvaro Aponte Centeno

Álvaro Aponte Centeno was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He studied Classical Music from age 8 until university. He also studied Film at EICTV. He attended a Sundance Workshop for emerging writers and directors. His cinematographic works were screened at Cannes, Locarno, San Sebastian, Munich, Melbourne, Stockholm, Havana, Lima, Geneva and Hong Kong, among others. With his second feature film project, Sarah, he was selected for a residency program at the Cannes Film Festival Foundation and the Locarno Filmmaker Academy.
