In order to escape the police after a robbery, two estranged siblings lay low in a mysterious farmhouse that transports them through time, hiding them from consequences and punishment. This twisty science-fiction thriller with dark doses of horror and suspense is a tragic puzzle of a film where time, blood, and isolation spur endless cycles of false hope and damning despair.

The ultimate reason why I work in movies is because of my dad. He showed me every movie under the sun: rom-coms, period dramas, horror films, war epics, you name it. But the ones that I really loved were his sci-fi picks.
THINGS WILL BE DIFFERENT is for the science fiction lover. It’s for the audience that puts two and two together, comes up with five, and wonders why that is. It’s for the people who love to get lost in a new strange world where the borders are just beyond their sight. It’s for people who find that a good movie doesn’t always mean a correct one. It’s for anyone who gets caught in the same cycles as their loved ones and can’t break out. It’s for those who have felt alone and powerless in a story that’s not their own.
